No man is an island
Early in the war, we returned to our studies at the academy, some of us in reserve service, relatives on the battlefield, and many grieving losses and injuries within our circles. The war also affected our internal academic discourse, leading to heightened tensions during this sensitive period. We aimed to remind our returning peers that we are a loving, angry, and complex community by creating a temporary exhibition in the department’s main space for a month, welcoming visitors.
